Dental Cleaning/Extractions

Your veterinarian will perform preanesthetic tests and examine for underlying disorders prior to the procedure. The treatment your dog may require will be discussed with you after the cleaning once each tooth and the gums have been checked. Since it can be difficult to predict the extent of dental disease in advance of the procedure, your veterinarian may contact you during the procedure to discuss any additional treatment that may be necessary.

Our Pet Dentistry Services
At Top Vet Animal Hospital we believe preventative dental care is the best dental care for pets and offer a full array of veterinary dental services, including:

  • Dental Cleaning
  • Annual dental cleanings
  • Dental radiographs (x-rays)
  • Extractions when needed
  • Pain management during and after dental procedures

Our veterinary team highly recommends routine labwork before any anesthetic procedure, which includes some dental cleanings and procedures. This is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your pet and alert our care team to any changes that may need made in the anesthetic procedure or monitoring.
